During Milan Design Week 2025, Mati Sipiora took part in not one, but three exhibitions, showcasing his distinctive design voice across the city.
Alcova
The first of these was Alcova, held in the iconic Villa Borsani—a modernist masterpiece located just outside Milan. Alcova is one of the most anticipated platforms during Milan Design Week, known for curating cutting-edge design in unique and often historic locations. It brings together a diverse range of independent designers, studios, and brands, offering an experimental and thought-provoking view of contemporary design.
At Alcova, Mati presented two of his latest works: the Phantom Chair, a sculptural armchair blending bold form with material finesse, and the Meteor Lamp, an atmospheric lighting piece inspired by cosmic motion and texture.

Good Selection
The second exhibition was GOOD SELECTION, a curated showcase highlighting emerging talents and bold design statements. Here, Mati exhibited the ZIP Chair, a dynamic piece that plays with structure and tension, and the Comet Lamp, a lighting object evoking motion and celestial elegance. The exhibition served as a platform for fresh, unconventional approaches to contemporary design—making it a fitting context for Mati’s creations.
COMUNE
The third exhibition, COMUNE, was a group showcase featuring works by Polish designers, celebrating the creativity and diversity of Poland’s contemporary design scene. In this vibrant and collaborative setting, Mati presented the Poodle Armchair in a striking turquoise finish—a playful yet refined piece characterized by its soft volumes and bold silhouette. Alongside it, he also showed the Zip Chair in a vivid pink variation, adding a fresh perspective to its dynamic form. COMUNE offered a unique platform for dialogue and visibility within the international design community.
